SOLOMON ISRAEL is now in rehearsals for The Follies of Mrs Rich and The Duchess of Malfi which form part of the next season in the RSC's Swan Theatre. Directed by Jo Davies and Maria Aberg respectively, both shows open in March next year.
SOLOMON ISRAEL is currently in rehearsals for Kingdom Come which will run from 7 to 30 September as part of the RSC's Mischief Festival at the Other Place. The piece will be devised in a collaboration between the cast and creators Gemma Brockis and Wendy Hubbard, and will be set in 1640 on the brink of civil war.
SOLOMON ISRAEL has started rehearsing for The Pulverised, which will run at the Arcola from 2 to 27 May and then at York Theatre Royal from 31 May to 10 June. The play by Alexandra Badea arrives in the UK in an English translation following its premier at the Strasbourg National Theatre where it won the prestigious Grand Prix de la Littérature.
SOLOMON ISRAEL is now in rehearsals for Dutchman at the Young Vic. The play, written by Amiri Baraka in 1964, explores the reality of race relations and freedom in America and will be directed by Genesis Future Directors Award recipient Ola Ince. It runs from 6 to 16 April.
SOLOMON ISRAEL begins rehearsals today for Tiata Fahodzi's I Know All the Secrets in My World which will tour the UK between 28 January and 6 March. Solomon also appeared in the production when it played festivals last year.
SOLOMON ISRAEL is in rehearsals for Supporting Wall's production of Octagon at the Arcola Theatre. The play by Kristiana Rae Colón follows a group of American slam poets and will be directed by Nadia Latif. Catch it from 16 September to 17 October.
SOLOMON ISRAEL is currently working with theatre company Tiata Fahodzi on their new production I Know All the Secrets in My World. The show will be performing at Latitude Festival, the Pulse Festival at New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich, and the Departure Lounge Festival at Derby Theatre.
