SOLOMON ISRAEL begins rehearsals today for Tiata Fahodzi's I Know All the Secrets in My World which will tour the UK between 28 January and 6 March. Solomon also appeared in the production when it played festivals last year.

MAEVE O'SULLIVAN is now in rehearsals for The Pitmen Painters at Oldham Coliseum, her second show at the theatre following 2014's Close The Coalhouse Door which earned her a Best Newcomer nomination at the Manchester Theatre Awards. She will again be directed by Kevin Shaw in the production which runs from 5 to 27 February.

Absent is partly inspired by The Duchess of Argyll's residence at a central London hotel from the 1970s until the 80s, when she was finally evicted, having run out of friends and credit. It plays from 24 August to 25 October.

It opens in Liverpool on 30 September before going on tour, taking in Richmond, Brighton, a two week stint at Shakespeare's Globe's Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, Cambridge and Exeter.
