SIMON SHACKLETON will soon be on tour with the Original Theatre Company's production of The Importance of Being Earnest. The show opens at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre at the end of January and tours until 5 May.

CAOLAN BYRNE will be appearing in both parts of The Miniaturist airing over Christmas on BBC One, playing the confectioner Arnoud Maakvrede. Based on the bestselling novel by Jessie Burton, episode one will air at 9pm on Tuesday 26 December with the second episode going out on the 27th.
Solomon Israel in the RSC's The Follies of Mrs Rich and The Duchess of Malfi
SOLOMON ISRAEL is now in rehearsals for The Follies of Mrs Rich and The Duchess of Malfi which form part of the next season in the RSC's Swan Theatre. Directed by Jo Davies and Maria Aberg respectively, both shows open in March next year.
Jessica Baglow in Jane Eyre and Hamlet at Bolton Octagon
JESSICA BAGLOW has been cast in Jane Eyre and Hamlet at the Octagon Theatre in Bolton. Jane Eyre, in which Jessica will play the titular role, will run from 18 January to 10 February and Hamlet, in which she will play Ophelia, will run from 15 February to 10 March.
Nicholas Gerard-Martin in Amadeus at National Theatre
NICHOLAS GERARD-MARTIN is returning to the cast of Amadeus which will run at the National Theatre from 11 January following a sell out run in 2016 and 2017. Michael Longhurst's acclaimed production will again star Lucian Msamati and Adam Gillen.

GREGORY GUDGEON is currently playing Coroner Morange in two episodes of Carnival Row. The show is a major new fantasy series from Amazon Studios filming in Prague, in which a serial killer preys on mystical creatures in a dark futuristic city.

RANJIT KRISHNAMMA is now in rehearsals for Simple8's production of A Passage to India. The show opens at the Royal & Derngate in Northampton on 18 January and then tours before a run at London's Park Theatre from 20 February to 24 March.
Lois Meleri-Jones shooting Craith
LOIS MELERI-JONES is currently working on the dual language (Welsh/English) series Craith (or in English, Hidden). She will appear in six episodes of the series playing the role of Lowri. The thriller is being filmed in North Wales and Cardiff and is being directed by Gareth Bryn for Fiction Factory who produced the successful detective series Hinterland.

William Owen shooting Bohemian Rhapsody
Actor WILLIAM OWEN has just filmed the part of a reporter in feature film Bohemian Rhapsody which tells the story of Freddie Mercury and the formation of Queen up to the band's performance at Live Aid in 1985. The movie is directed by Bryan Singer for GK Films and 20th Century Fox.
John Omole in #Hashtag Lightie at the Arcola
JOHN OMOLE is returning to the Arcola to reprise his role in #Hashtag Lightie between 14 November and 2 December following its sell out run earlier this year. Directed by Rikki Beadle-Blair and written by Lynette Linton, the play is a heartwarming and hilarious exploration of the conflicting ideas of what it means to be mixed race in Britain today.

SEAN KINGSLEY will soon reprise the role of Ursus in The Grinning Man following its run at Bristol Old Vic last year. The musical is based on The Man Who Laughs by Victor Hugo and can be seen at Trafalgar Studios from 5 December.

COLIN RYAN is currently in rehearsals for The Secret Theatre by Anders Lustgarten which will run at the Sam Wanamaker Theatre at Shakespeare's Globe from 16 November to 16 December. Directed by Matthew Dunster, the play centres on spymaster Sir Francis Walsingham and the surveillance network he ran from the heart of Elizabeth I's court.
Connor Hughes in Little Women at Hope Mill Theatre
CONNOR HUGHES is now in rehearsals for the European premiere of Little Women, a musical based on the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott with a score by Grammy Award winner Jason Howland. Connor will play the part of Laurie at Manchester's Hope Mill Theatre from 9 November to 9 December.
Melissa Allan in A Christmas Carol at Old Vic
It has just been announced that MELISSA ALLAN will play Little Fan in A Christmas Carol at the Old Vic, in a cast that includes Rhys Ifans. Matthew Warchus will direct a new version of the story by Jack Thorne which will run from 20 November to 20 January.

SEAN KINGSLEY and JANET FULLERLOVE will both soon appear in the New Wolsey Theatre's production Oxy and the Morons. The new punk musical by Paul Sirett, Mike Peters and Steve Allan Jones will run from 12 to 21 October.
Patrick Romer in the RSC's Imperium
PATRICK ROMER is now in rehearsals for the RSC's Imperium: The Cicero Plays, Mike Poulter's new version of Robert Harris' bestselling Cicero series. The event will be staged as six plays in two performances and will be directed by Gregory Doran. Imperium Part I: Conspirator will run from 16 November to 10 February and Imperium Part II: Dictator will run from 23 November to 10 February.
