Jessica Baglow nominated for the Ian Charleson Awards

The wonderful JESSICA BAGLOW has been nominated for the Ian Charleson Awards for her performance as Marina in Pericles at Shakespeare's Globe. The Awards are run by the National Theatre and the Sunday Times and reward the best classical stage performances in Britain by actors under the age of 30. The winner will be announced at an event at the National Theatre on 24 June.

Melissa Allan in Our Ladies Of Perpetual Succour on tour

MELISSA ALLAN is about to head back on tour with the National Theatre of Scotland's production of Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour. Adapted from Alan Warner's novel The Sopranos, the show was a huge success at last year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It opens at Brighton Theatre Royal on 18 May before touring, and will run at the National Theatre of Great Britain through August and September.

MAEVE O'SULLIVAN will be appearing in The Easter Rising and Thereafter at the Jermyn Street Theatre from 26 to 30 April. The show, timed to coincide with the centenary of the Easter Rising in Ireland, will be part drama, part revue, part session. Incorporating poems, songs and speeches by W.B. Yeats, Dominic Behan, James Mangan, Louis MacNeice, Walter Savage Landor, Roger Casement, Winston Churchill, Sean O'Casey and others, it reveals the contrasting takes of the Easter Rising, the War of Independence, the Civil War and their legacies for Britain and Ireland.
